The Arcadia News is a family-owned and operated newspaper. Greg Bruns is the publisher, while his mother, Shirley, is the official proofreader, and his father, Bob, handles the distribution. The paper also employs local residents in an assortment of different managerial and support positions.

Additionally, the News has been a proud sponsor of local charities like A Mighty Voice, a nonprofit organization that promotes research, awareness, and support for families of pediatric motor neuron diseases. Additionally, since 2008, the Arcadia News has been recognized by the Andrew Shapiro Foundation as one of the top community newspapers in the country for breast cancer support and coverage.
In 2013 an idea for local charity and support was instituted in the form of the Arcadia News Assisting Neighbors program. The first organization supported during the holiday season was Los Ninos Hospital, a small children’s hospital in Phoenix. Additional local needs will be met with the Arcadia News acting as the conduit between those in need and readers.
