Design-build (or design/build, and abbreviated D-B or D/B accordingly) is a construction project delivery system where, in contrast to "design-bid-build" (or "design-tender"), the design and construction aspects are contracted for with a single entity. The design-builder may be the design professional (architect) or General Contractor. The most efficient design-builder has design and construction professionals working directly for the same at-risk entity. Ron Barr, A.I.A, Founder and Principal has more than 20 years of experience in Architecture and Construction throughout Florida and nine other states. Ron received his Master of Architecture degree from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana and went on to receive his General Contractors license shortly thereafter. As an Architect and General Contractor, Ron guides Clients through the technical and design aspects of their project.
