The mission of the Skagit Conservation District is to provide voluntary, incentive based options that support working landscapes while protecting and enhancing our natural resource land base. Conservation plans are provided for free to operators of farms and landowners as the SCD is funded with local, state, and federal grants. Free educational workshops such as Watershed Masters, Backyard Conservation Stewardship are also offered as are free watershed and tree related presentations to local schools.
