A relaxed mind and body are more capable of dealing with the stressors of life. It is vital for clients to find a massage therapist that they feel comfortable with; that is concerned with their physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing; and that will develop sessions tailored to them. He encourages his clients to consider massage therapy as part of their preventative as well as their restorative health program. People need to stop, stretch, take a deep breath, and relax. WHAT TO EXPECT Michael has his clients complete a brief intake form and they review the responses and agree on the techniques and body areas to be addressed. Sessions may consist of a combination of relaxing strokes and/or therapeutic work as well as muscle stretching and strengthening. Michael will verify that the pressure is appropriate and the client is pleased with the work. Good communication between the client and therapist is essential. Toward the end of the session, light connective strokes applied to the body signal that the session is concluding.
