Actress and drama teacher for 15 years, Helia became a belly dancing instructor in 2003. She is about to complete a master degree in dance teaching. Her memoir researches how a holistic point of view (somatic education) inspires her teaching and enhances the personal benefits of the dance for the participants to her classes. She teaches and performs in Vero Beach, Jensen Beach (Rio, Stuart), Port St Lucie and Fort Pierce. Together Ensemble plays American, Quebecois, French and World Cultural Folk with accoustic lap harp, stand up bass, harmonica, and vocal harmonies.
