The Broadway Center for the Perfoming Arts is known for its leadership in presenting world-class performing artists, providing one of the largest performing arts education programs in Washington State, and preserving Tacoma's historic theaters. The Broadway Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit and manages the largest complex of theaters between Seattle and Portland: Pantages Theater (seating 1169, built in 1918, and restored in 1983); the Rialto Theater (seating 742, also built in 1918, and restored 1991); and Theatre on the Square (seating 302, built in 1993).

Our team consists of five WA State convicts who are currently locked up serving long prison sentences. Owner Kris Kain is who represents them and promotes their eminent talents as writers, paralegals, musicians, and artists. Trust, those talents are not what you may be used to when it comes to your everyday jail house lawyer or artist. By allowing their talents and what they promote to be noticed outside of the prison walls is a chance for the general public to recognize America's mass incarceration in hopes this opens the public eye to our unjust system as a whole.
