The yoga center was operated from April 1997 through December 2003. In August 2003, Maureen Spencer, RN - Founder and Executive Director, returned as an infection control nurse at New England Baptist Hospital. However, she continued on with the yoga school and brought the curriculum into existing yoga studios/center to continue training some of the best yoga teachers in the area. Faculty train the students in convenient locations and all the locations meet once a month at the Sheraton Hotel in Braintree, MA. Over 500 yoga teachers have graduated from this school and serve the community to bring the peace and harmony of traditional hatha yoga practice to this world. Finding Inner Peace is a business that focuses on certificate programs in yoga, sound healing and Reiki energy healing.
