Our story begins back in 2003. At that time we had our own asparagus patch that produced more than what we could use ourselves. We decided to take the extra asparagus and sell it to people who wanted the clean, fresh, locally grown product. It ended up being so popular that we found ourselves expanding our production to meet the needs of our customers. The only disappointment was that they could not get it year around. So we went to work trying to figure out how we could do just that! That is when we came up with the idea of pickling our asparagus. We knew we had to devise the perfect recipe. We pickled the asparagus using different ingredients. We thought this would be easy, but after several hundred jars, and three years, we realized it was a lot more difficult than we thought. We would "taste test" them with our friends and families until we developed the "perfect taste." Finally, in 2009 we were ready to make the product available to the public. Since then our pickled asparagus has become a mainstay for the "perfect" Bloody Mary, deviled eggs, relish trays, salads, poker night snacks, and even a garnish for a Hot Dog.
