Dr. Deepnarayan Tiwarri is board certified in medical oncology and hematology. He is very active in community-based service and currently serves as Chief of the Division of Medical Oncology and Hematology at Medstar/Southern Maryland Hospital Center in Clinton, Maryland. He has been awarded multiple prizes for academic achievement, as well as service to the community.

Dr. Daoud Dajani is a fellowship-trained urologist specializing in advanced robotic and laparoscopic surgeries to treat malignant and benign conditions of the urinary tract. His surgical areas of focus include advanced techniques in prostate, kidney, and bladder cancer surgery. Prior to joining Chesapeake Urology, Dr. Dajani was a urologist with the Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical group from 2016-2022, and he served as the chair of the Mid-Atlantic Robotic Surgeons covering Baltimore, Washington DC, Southern MD, and Northern VA. He currently serves as Medical Director of Genitourinary Oncology, University of Maryland Capital Region Medical Center.

Dr. Harbhajan S. Ajrawat is a board-certified urologist who specializes in general adult urology and urologic conditions affecting men including BPH/enlarged prostate, prostate cancer, stone disease, and erectile dysfunction. Prior to joining Chesapeake Urology, Dr. Ajrawat was in urology practice for four decades, caring for patients throughout the Southern Maryland region. His care philosophy has always been to treat patients as you would treat yourself.

Tara joined Chesapeake Urology in 2018 as a Physician Assistant at Montgomery General Hospital as well as in Chesapeake Urology's Silver Spring office. Tara performs assessments, diagnosis, and treatment of patients in the hospital and ER, performs consultations, sees inpatient/ER consultations, manages post-operative patients, and performs admissions and discharges. She specializes in the care of patients with prostate cancer and runs the Advanced Prostate Cancer Clinic at Chesapeake Urology's Silver Spring office. Tara is also available for telehealth appointments.

Dr. Sun is board certified in internal medicine, medical oncology and hematology. He is a member of American Society of Hematology and the American Society of Clinical Oncology. He has published multiple research articles in peer-reviewed journals.

Dr. Gupta has a special interest in coagulation and other blood disorders. She is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and a former Chief of Oncology of Doctors Community Hospital. She currently serves in various capacities at that hospital including member of the Breast Tumor Board, founding member of the General Tumor board and member of the Medical Executive Committee. She has been a member of the Cancer Committee at the hospital since its inception with the goal of advancing the quality of cancer care in the community.

Dr. Mendoza is board certified in internal medicine, medical oncology and hematology and is the recipient of the James Leonard award from the American College of Physicians, District of Columbia Chapter. He is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Society of Hematology and a fellow of the American College of Physicians. Dr. Mendoza is fluent in Spanish and has volunteered his time in several events organized by the Hispanic community.
