Dr. George Matosian attended the USC School of Dentistry graduating in 1975 with honors. After graduation he moved to Switzerland where he did children's dentistry. Upon his return he opened his own office in 1977.Dr. George Matosian has always placed a high priority on both education and Continuing Education. He has been a faculty member at USC dental school and currently he co-directs the Odontic Seminar, a Continuing Education seminar for local dentists and specialists. He has maintained membership with both the American and California Dental Associations. Initially he served as a member of the CDA Peer Review Committee in San Diego, eventually serving as its Chairman.Dr.

In 2005 he was asked to join a group practice with two excellent dentists, Dr. Peter Shaw and Dr. Mark Jankowski. He worked with them until he purchased Summit Dental of La Mesa in 2011. He was appointed to the UCLA School of Dentistry faculty in 1998 as a part-time faculty member. Dr. Evans has a strong interest in treating sleep and TMJ disorders, and has opened San Diego Therapy for Sleep and TMJ Disorders.
