UPM, Inc. (Universal Plastic Mold) is a U.S.-based custom plastic injection molder located in Baldwin Park, California, in continuous operation since 1962. UPM operates 30 injection molding machines ranging from 150 to 2,000 tons, including five presses at 1,500 tons or higher and three at 2,000 tons, across a 130,000 square foot facility on nine acres with approximately 300 employees. UPM is ISO 9001:2015 certified (Certificate #1715) and IATF 16949 compliant. Program documentation includes PPAP Level 3, First Article Inspection, and APQP. Services include custom injection molding, insert molding and over-molding, large-part and high-tonnage molding, design for manufacturability review, and secondary operations such as assembly, painting, silk screening, pad printing, ultrasonic welding, and PCB integration. UPM also provides kitting, packaging, and distribution support.
