Asthma Education Consultants of Georgia was formed in late September 2010 by John Nydam. As a respiratory therapist working in local hospitals, John has spent the last 20 years in health care working in emergency rooms, intensive care units and general floors caring for patients with asthma. Working in pulmonary labs, many patients had questions about asthma and how to manage their disease. Becoming a Certified Asthma Educator was the best way to help patients learn more about their disease and help them take more responsibility with their care. Meeting with patients in the comfort of their own home and helping manage the environment where they spend the most time just makes sense. Dedication to disease prevention and helping patients stay healthy has always been a top priority.
