HOME INSPECTIONS: As InterNACHI members we must adhere to InterNACHI's Standards of Practice. This means we will inspect all of the following (when accessible): Roof, vents, flashings, and trim Gutters and downspouts Skylight, chimney and other roof penetrations Decks, stoops, porches, walkways, and railings Eaves, soffit and fascia Grading and drainage Basement, foundation and crawlspace Water penetration and foundation movement Heating systems Cooling systems Main water shut off valves Water heating system Interior plumbing fixtures and faucets Drainage sump pumps with accessible floats Electrical service line and meter box Main disconnect and service amperage Electrical panels, breakers and fuses Grounding and bonding Testing of GFCIs and AFCIs Fireplace damper door and hearth Insulation and ventilation Garage doors, safety sensors, and openers HOME WATCH SERVICES: We offer home watch services for snowbirds and other absentee homeowners. Visits may be arranged on a weekly, bi-weekly, monthly or as-needed basis. We check for pest infestation, leaks, broken screens and windows, failing heating/cooling systems, storm damage, security system malfunctions, plugged gutters, mold and mildews and poor maintenance by your lawn and/or pool services. We bring in mail and informed you of first-class mail you may need to know about. We arrange for repairs and stay with contractors while they do the work. After each visit we email you a detailed report with photographs as appropriate.
