Our Facility is in a very good location with a safe environment, we are close to Concord Community Park and Bart Station. At Golden Step Childcare & Preschool (with 12 yrs. experience and teaching and psychologist certification from my country) we strive to provide a secure, happy, and enriching environment. Our Preschool/Childcare environment presents maximum opportunities for cognitive development, discovery learning and an awareness of cultural diversity. Our Facility offers the best care and learning environment for their overall development. Children will participate in enrichment activities, such as free play, outdoor, indoor play area, Kid's yoga, Gardening, Arts, crafts, Circle Time, Music, dance, Math, and Science. Our facility serves a daily fresh organic homemade meals and snacks that are approved by the Contra Costa Child Care Food Program to ensure your child will get the proper nutrition his/her growing body needs. Our Preschool/Childcare hours are Monday through Sunday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Also, we offer drop-in care as well. Golden Step Childcare has a very happy family-style vibe childcare. The children are sweet and welcoming and the families are kind and supportive. We are a preschool and kindergarten class which provide the stimulation and encouragement that carries him/her into the exciting world of learning in a Christian atmosphere. Through the Montessori philosophy we guide each child's independent thinking, and give him/her many opportunities for experimentation and problem solving. The teachers lead the children in ways that build good self esteem and encourage optimum learning. We are sponsored by First Presbyterian Church of Concord located in downtown Concord near Todos Santos Plaza.

At Amy's Daycare, when you enroll, you become part of something bigger and better than any other Childcare around! You and your children become part of one great big family. Our parents are never left out, with endless opportunities for you and your children to join the other parents with trips to the zoo on the weekends and the occasional daycare mommies night out, birthday parties, and other family get-together s, that we try to do on the regular, so that the parents can get to know each other. That is just one small perk of having an awesome daycare family. Our children become best friends, as they grow together and forever make fun memories of their first school experiences. I'm so excited to be able to welcome a few new, special kids into our group this year. This is the first time since 2009, that we've had any openings. This is going to be a great year!
