Operating under the principle of Cooperative, an enterprise that is collectively owned and operated for mutual benefit, Honey Tree Preschool of Tehachapi provides young children with an opportunity for fun, learning and companionship in a classroom setting. Our school is operated by an all volunteer board of parents, under the guidance of Nita Duhart, the paid teacher/director. Each Parent is required to help in the classroom each month; this provides constant supervision and greater individual attention for the children. It allows our tuition to be the lowest in town! Parents are encouraged to participate in running the co-op in as many ways as they can. There is a great deal of time and work needed to provide a well-run co-op for the children.
