Step A Way children are exposed to a variety of planned and spontaneous learning experiences in a newly remodeled space arranged to accommodate large and small group activities. The teachers plan activities that address the five modalities of learning so that the Pre School Frameworks developed by the State Department of Education are covered. Curriculum also includes a preschool math curriculum called Numbers Plus by High Scope Educational Research Foundation and activities that encourage character development. Our developmental philosophy allows children to develop into confident learners who are able to make choices, ask questions, and love learning. In order to achieve these goals we know children need to be loved, valued and respected.
