Puddle Jumpers Preschool fosters an environment where children feel safe and valued as unique individuals. Each child is met at his/her level of development and positive interaction between teacher and student is considered vital to learning. Puddle Jumpers Preschool has developed a curriculum that is consistent with current research and best practice in early childhood education. The Maine Early Childhood Guidelines and individual assessments are used as a guide as we design a curriculum that is theme based. Meaningful play is supported in a content rich environment and promotes development of the whole child; cognitive, social, emotional and physical. Children are given opportunities to discover, create and explore.
