At Friends and Family Daycare it is my goal to alleviate stress and worry for our parents and to know that their child is having fun and being well cared for. I strive to provide an atmosphere that encourages the social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth of each child as a whole. I work closely with each family in order to provide an environment that allows each child to develop to their fullest potential. Children learn best through guided play and therefore I provide opportunities for children to explore, experiment, and discover the world around them. Thematic units based on the children’s interests will encompass literature-based lessons that foster the love of books. Children develop sequentially and I help aid in the progression through encouraging and challenging the child to continue to try until they are successful. I believe that each child is unique and celebrates diversity among us. It is my goal that your child is excited to return each day.
