Tom Child, owner of Marine Specialties first opened in Gainesville, GA 20 years ago offering several different services to lake home owners including Rip Rap Erosion Control, Docks, and Boat Lifts all around Lake Lanier. In 2009 Marine Specialties opened their 2nd location in Anderson, SC serving Lakes Hartwell, Keowee and Thurmond. Our barge was delivered to Lake Hartwell just after we opened to continue our Rip Rap services just as we have on Lake Lanier for the past 2 decades. Both locations carry Hydro Hoist Boatlifts and PWC lifts, Wahoo Aluminum Boat Docks, Steel and Aluminum Gangways, Shoreline Steps, Rip Rap Erosion Control, Gangway Wheels, Swim Ladders, and many different Dock Accessories.
