The owner and head cake decorator Davy Crockett Murray was trained at the Culinary Institute of Savannah. In 2012, Davy received his Culinary degree from the Culinary Institute of Savannah. After graduating with honors, Davy also became Certified through the American Culinary Federation. In December 2012, Davy also became a Certified ServSafe Instructor. In 2013, Davy received his Baking and Pastry Arts Degree from the Culinary Institute of Savannah again graduating with honors. As a Certified ServSafe Instructor, Davy personally oversees each order at Coastal Confections to ensure all safety, sanitation and health regulations are followed to the letter.
