The Carl & Mary Koehler History Center is the historical heart of Linn County, Iowa. Its permanent gallery features a gateway orientation to Linn County, from prehistoric occupation and rural farming communities to urban immigration culture, manufacturing, food production and communications industries. The museum also offers a permanent exhibit for children highlighting the lives of eight real children from Linn County history.
Temporary exhibits feature historical items from the museum's collection.
