At the LionPit we teach traditional Okinawan Goju-Ryu Karate in a family-friendly environment for practical self defense. Continuing a legacy that began over 30 years ago, right here in Butte, we emphasize fitness, discipline, and sound technique ​in a clean, enjoyable atmosphere - all of which combine to build real self-confidence for today's challenges. First month is always free to make sure it's a good fit for you. We also offer individual classes for personal "street-style" self defense - ages 18+ only - with an emphasis on awareness and avoidance, while teaching fast, simple, effective techniques to help get out of bad situations.
