Zen Mountain Martial Arts was founded in 2010, in Winter Park, Colorado . We are a non-competetive, self-progress oriented martial arts club. Sensei (teacher) Matt Relyea is the chief instructor and founder of the art of Kinsei-Do Karate. We always welcome and respect experienced martial artists of any style to train and share their art with us, as we are always open to new knowledge and techniques. The 7 virtues of bushido (way of the warrior) are our standards of our training. Kinsei-Do (The Way of Balance) Karate (empty-hand) is an exploration into creating an efficient and effective martial art that will work regardless of the practitioner's size, strength or gender.
