We teach students how to defend themselves, we are not promoting fighting. In addition to the martial arts, we have our colors of character program in which students (14 years and younger) have to demonstrate these 8 rules outside of the dojo in addition to their material (see website for more details: www.avonkempoaikido.com). Our dojo is extremely family oriented and we do NOT HAVE CONTRACTS OR LONG TERM OBLIGATIONS. Classes are broken down by age and by rank and there are multiple classes offered each week for every group. There are generous family discounts. We are very proud to have over 30 active black belts in our dojo. We encourage those interested to stop by and watch a class, talk to our instructors, our students or parents and of course, ourselves.
