At AHMAA we teach a true mixed martial arts system - this means our students are taught elements of various martial arts disciplines in one complete program. With this unique approach we are able to consistently develop students who are proficient in multiple areas of self defense, especially blocking, striking, and submission. Grandmaster Hinkelbein combines many of his own philosophies with elements of Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, Aikido, and Boxing - resulting in a well-rounded MMA system that is not only practical, but also extremely effective whatever your age, size, or skill level may be.
