Sandy Trubisky has 25 + swim instruction experience with infants up to senior citizens. She thrives to teach the beginners to reach their opitmal goal to eventually swim for exercise and therapy, including 85 year old senior citizens who have never swam before. Also, the swim students learn life saving strategies in the water and can implement them in real life situations. She has a structured teaching style where she reaches their individualized learning styles while maintaing their confidentiality and trust in her teaching methods. Sandy's major accomplishment came from the life of one her most fortunate students. This student was raised autistic and took her time in teaching them to swim for five years. One of the successes was to teach them how to save their life in the pool. Sandy also will travel up to 40 minutes and will charge for mileage to accommodate your needs and schedule. Emler Swim School of Dallas-Preston Forest swimming pool was built in 2005 in a space that was previously a Tuesday Morning store. The large swimming pool at Preston Forest is 30 feet wide and 40 feet long. An Australian inspired small swimming pool where the water level is mid chest for preschool children was also built in this facility. This depth is designed for increased comfort, creating an optimal learning environment for young swimmers. The small swimming pool is used to increase confidence and endurance during swim lessons with very young children. It can also be used as a "Stay and Play" swimming pool for students to enjoy some playtime - and practice time - in the water after their swim lesson. Centrally located in northern Dallas county to offer swim lessons to the communities of North Dallas, University Park, Highland Park and Lake Highlands.
