Pasquale Maio President and Owner Pasquale Maio is an Italian lawyer born and raised in Orria, Cilento. He moved to New York after marrying an Italian American girl he met when he was 8 years old. He grew up spending time on his grandparents farm surrounded by olive, fig, and lemon trees. Every Saturday, after school, he used to run to his grandparents farm and help them can tomatoes, make goat cheese, sausage, olive oil and wine. Even now, after having followed his soul mate to Brooklyn, he prepares the freshly made pasta, vegetable and dessert dishes his grandmother Natalina and his mother Valeria made every weekend. In December 2008 Pasquale founded a start up company, Cilento Experience, with the goal of continuing and educating others about the Cilento cultural traditions. Cilento
