Established from the ground up in 1997, Becht Vineyard has been producing high quality Cabernet Sauvignon grapes since 2003. These grapes have been incorporated into Stag's Leap Wine Cellars 2003-2010 Hawk Crest, 2003 & 2005 Red Hills. Located in the Red Hills Appellation. The soil that supports the vines is rusty red, well drained and moderately fertile, yielding a balanced crop with intense flavor. The planted portion spans approximately 16 acres with production at approx. 60 tons. Rootstock: 110R, clone 7 & 8. Proudly Managed by Bernie Luchsinger.
