In 2017 Angry Chickz Founder David Mkhitaryan stumbled upon Nashville Hot chicken took one bite and instantly fell in Love. Being a spicy food fanatic from childhood David was blown away with the idea of spicy fried chicken, He became obsessed with creating his own version of the popular southern dish. Having worked as a cook for his father at their family restaurant for years David took his experience and obsession into creating the perfect spicy chicken tender. He wanted to see just how juicy, just how spicy and just how flavorful he can make it.

THE JOURNEY After 6 months of running the pop-up with long lines, the team took the plunge and opened their first physical store in January 2018 in a sleepy strip center in East Hollywood. Demand for their crave-able hot chicken exceeded all expectations and sales have grown every month since opening with consistently long lines throughout the day.
