Dr. Louis Avvento Medical Oncology & Hematology Louis J. Avvento, MD graduated from the University of Rome with a degree in medicine in 1981. He continued with his residency at Jamaica Hospital in Queens, where he chose to submerge himself into the oncology world because, at the time, treatments were limited and patient care was extremely challenging. He wanted to be a part of a healthcare revolution to change the lives of oncology patients for the better and has found it to be the most rewarding career he could have chosen

Deepali Sharma, MD Dr. Sharma is board certified in Medical Hematology and Oncology. She is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Hematology and is also a clinical assistant professor at the New York Institute of Technology. Dr. Deepali Sharma graduated with a degree in medicine from the Mahatama Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences in India, where medical training intertwines with Gandhian values of simple living and high thinking. She completed her residency at New York Methodist Hospital in 2006. She was also the chief resident at New York Methodist Hospital. Following her Residency, Dr.Sharma completed her fellowship in Hematology and Oncology in 2011, also at New York Methodist Hospital.

Dr. Sadia Riaz Medical Oncology & Hematology Sadia Riaz, DO, is a board-certified hematologist-oncologist with more than ten years of experience in benign and malignant hematologic conditions. She has been awarded Castle Connolly's Top Doctor for the second year in a row. Dr. Riaz earned a combined Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree at NYIT College Of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency and Hematology and Oncology Fellowship at North Shore University Hospital. Dr. Riaz is an Assistant Professor at Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell, where she is involved in teaching fellows, residents, and students.
