Laura is a certified family nurse practitioner at Schweiger Dermatology Group. She specializes in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. Her interest in dermatology is deeply personal, stemming from her own family history of skin cancer. This background fuels her dedication to skin cancer prevention, early detection and educating patients about the importance of skin health.

Steven A. Kolenik III, MD Steven A. Kolenik III, MD is board-certified in dermatology and is a member of the American College of Mohs Surgery. He has performed over 23,000 Mohs surgery procedures. He is also an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society of Dermatologic surgery, the Connecticut State Medical Society, and the Fairfield County Medical Society. Dr. Kolenik graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Pennsylvania. He received his doctorate from the Yale School of Medicine, where he remained for his post-graduate training in dermatology. He was appointed chief resident in dermatology and also completed a fellowship in Mohs Micrographic surgery.

Amanda Perez is a Certified Nurse Practitioner at Schweiger Dermatology Group. She has worked in the surgical trauma ICU, medical ICU and post anesthesia care unit at Yale New Haven Health and Kaiser Permanente. She completed Schweiger Dermatology Group's Advanced Practice Provider Training Program where she trained alongside Dr. Frank Pinto and other dermatology providers to gain firsthand experience in medical, surgical and cosmetic treatments.

Schweiger Dermatology Group provides care from dermatology providers and dermatologists in Norwalk, CT, for concerns like acne, eczema, rosacea and routine skin checks. Our Norwalk dermatologists and dermatology providers work with patients on both everyday skin concerns and long-term skin health, taking the time to understand each patient's goals and concerns. The office also offers cosmetic dermatology treatments including Botox, dermal fillers and laser procedures, along with skin cancer screenings and treatment. Adults, teens and children visit the practice for straightforward dermatology care close to home.

Kush Patel is a certified physician assistant specializing in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Neuroscience, Psychology, and Cognitive Science from Wesleyan University. After working as a Mohs Surgical Assistant with Yale-trained physicians, Dr. Frank Pinto and Dr. Steven Kolenik at Connecticut Dermatology Group, Kush went on to the Physician Assistant Program at the Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, MA. At Tufts, he was honored with the Compassionate Care Award for his outstanding bedside manner. Kush trained at several academic institutions across Boston, including the Brigham and Women's Hospital and the Beth Israel Lahey Health System

Frank J. Pinto Jr., MD Dr. Frank J. Pinto is board-certified in dermatology and micrographic dermatologic surgery. He has dedicated more than three decades to full-time clinical practice in the field of Dermatology. A native of Fairfield County, he grew up in Easton and graduated from Fairfield Prep. He received his undergraduate degree from Yale University, earning a BS in Biology, magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa. He attended Georgetown University School of Medicine on a U.S. Navy scholarship, earning his MD degree, cum laude, Alpha Omega Alpha.

John M. Jasinski, MS, PA-C, is a certified Physician Assistant as well as an active member and fellow of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. John received his bachelor's degree in zoology from the University of New Hampshire in 1996, followed by his master's from the University of New England in 2002. He has co-authored nine publications based on his undergraduate research. After earning his degrees, John joined Connecticut dermatology group in 2002. John's special interests include medical and surgical treatment for skin cancer; acne treatment; biologic treatment for psoriasis; and cosmetic dermatology using lasers, toxins, and fillers.
