Dr. Mainwaring is a Board-Certified Dermatologist at Schweiger Dermatology Group. Dr. Mainwaring received his MD from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, where he was selected for the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. He then completed his dermatology residency at the University of California, Los Angeles, where he was chosen to serve as chief resident. Dr. Mainwaring has been published in numerous scientific journals and is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology. His clinical interests include early detection and optimal treatment of skin cancer and other dermatologic disorders, including psoriasis, eczema, acne and immunobullous disease.

Shivani Thakker, PA-C is a certified physician’s assistant specializing in the field of medical and cosmetic dermatology. Shivani received her Physician Assistants degree from Touro College of Health Sciences in Bay Shore, New York. Shivani has over 7 years of experience in dermatology and her areas of interest include acne, eczema, skin of color, skin cancer prevention, and developing personalized skin care regimens for patients. Shivani is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, New York State Society of Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. In her spare time, Shivani can be found with her husband and two daughters exploring New York City.

Rachel Zakhary, PA-C is a licensed and certified Physician Assistant in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology at Schweiger Dermatology Group. Rachel graduated magna cum laude from Seton Hall University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Rachel went on to complete her Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Seton Hall University, during which she was inducted into the Pi Alpha Honor Society, which is a national honor society for Physician Assistants whose membership signifies inductees' significant academic achievements and honors them for their leadership, research, and community and professional service.

Danielle is a certified Physician Assistant specializing in medical and cosmetic dermatology at Schweiger Dermatology Group. She received her Bachelor of Science in Integrative Neuroscience and a minor in Health and Wellness Studies from Binghamton University. She then went on to obtain her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Hofstra University, where she was presented the Clinical Excellence Award. After graduating, Danielle started her career as a Physician Assistant in cardiothoracic surgery.
