For spectacular photos, and a short video that shows Jesus and Mary Chapel as a microcosm of Heaven on Earth visit: http://jesusandmarychapel.weebly.com/ Jesus and Mary Chapel, along with Jesus and Mary High School, was founded in the early 20th century by Mexicans of wealth(Cristeros) who fled the revolution in Mexico and settled in that area of El Paso known as "Sunset Heights." The High School was staffed by the Sisters of Jesus and Mary, a Mexican religious community. It closed following the Second Vatican Council. The property was purchased by other owners and subsequently purchased by the Society of St. Pius X. It serves as a Church for the faithful in the El Paso area who desire to cleave to Traditional Catholicism. For more information, call the parish office at 915-544-7385.
