From guitar lessons to singing and piano lessons, Performance Play Music School offers a wide variety of opportunities for people of all ages to learn to play and enjoy music. Want to take private singing, drum, or violin lessons? Our skilled music teachers are here to give you 30-minute or one-hour lessons each week in just about any instrument. If you’re new to music and would like to experiment, we offer semi-private piano and guitar lessons for beginners. We also offer a vocal performance class, where you can practice singing with a group of people. Mastering an instrument with other people is fun! That’s why we offer a variety of youth and adult musical performance sessions, so that you can play and learn with other local musicians at the same ability level as you. With rock and pop music as the main focus (band and orchestra instruments are highly encouraged to join in the fun), you’ll enjoy playing and learning at the same time. This fun environment helps kids develop their creative and fine motor skills and concentration, as well as simply having a good time with music. Looking for a fun birthday party venue idea? What about throwing a music party with us at our convenient Aurora location? Whether you’re a group of kids or adults, we provide a rockin’ musical experience for everyone at the party! For those groups that have at least some musical playing experience, they’ll get to choose up to 3 songs to perform at the party’s finale, which includes a fog machine and rock & roll light show! For those groups with less experience, you’ll still have fun playing on real rock instruments (including drums), get to sing through microphones to the songs of your choice. Parties include two hours of musical exploration, a 20-minute show, and 40 min. setup/cleanup time. Spring, summer, and holiday music camps are a fun way for kids to experience what it’s like to be in a real rock band, not to mention forming lasting friendships. After carefully assigning campers to a group that best matches their musical taste and ability, the band will learn to play several songs that they choose, write an original song, and even record their own CD.
