Cornerstone Christian Academy believes that play is children's work. Early childhood experts and brain research support the use of play-oriented curriculum for young children. Concrete "hands-on" learning experiences advance children to higher levels of language, thinking skills, and problem solving. Through these activities, basic skills are introduced, practiced and mastered. A wide range of enrichment activities broadens the child's vocabulary, creativity and experience base. Cornerstone Christian Academy students participate in chapel and Bible lessons daily. Worship time consists of Bible songs, scripture, and prayers. All aspects of teaching include the Christian perspective, providing guidance for personal responsibility and friendship.
