Providing the guidance you need, to the destination you desire. We offer the following services: Individual counseling, Couples counseling, Substance abuse assessments, Clinical supervision for LLPC's, Nicotine cessation program, and Stress management workshops. Unlike some mental health professionals, we refrain from suggesting that we are trained and qualified to work with "everything." At North Star Community Counseling, we typically see clients struggling with common mental health difficulties, such as depression and anxiety, grief, and stress management. We also see people with the desire to quit smoking, those battling substance abuse and addiction problems, couples looking to resolve acute or chronic relationship conflicts, and clients facing problems coping with a new or existing disability. We also assist veterans with various challenges associated with transitioning from active duty to life in the civilian world. If your specific concern is not listed, please call or email us anyway. We are familiar with many community-based resources that could provide the assistance you require. We currently accept McLaren Health Plan, Meridian Health Plan, Priority Health, and Aetna.
