Unlike some mental health professionals, we refrain from suggesting that we are trained and qualified to work with "everything." At North Star Community Counseling, we typically see clients struggling with common mental health difficulties, such as depression and anxiety, grief, and stress management. We also see people with the desire to quit smoking, those battling substance abuse and addiction problems, couples looking to resolve acute or chronic relationship conflicts, and clients facing problems coping with a new or existing disability.
