Area II Agency on Aging is a public non-profit organization located in Roundup, Montana. One of ten Area Agencies serving Montana, Area II serves the needs and concerns of seniors and the disabled throughout an eleven-county area, including two reservations, in central Montana. A few of the services we provide include: Home and Community Based Services: A service designed to support independent living in the community for Montanans who might otherwise be living in nursing homes. Information and Assistance: Area II serves as a resource for seniors and the disabled. We answer questions, provide information about other agencies, and help with referrals. Certified Local Ombudsman: An advocate who protects the rights of residents living in long-term-care facilities and personal-care homes. SHIP Counselors: Trained staff who provide assistance with Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security and other issues relating to seniors and the disabled.
