We exist to spread a passion for the Supremacy of God in all things for the joy of all peoples through Jesus Christ.
We are called The Rising because we are passionate about the Jesus of The Bible. We identify ourselves with Jesus’ death by faith, and consequently we identify ourselves with Jesus’ resurrection (Colossians 2:11-13). The Rising not only celebrates the new life and joy found in trusting and treasuring Jesus, but we also put our hope in and long for the day when we rise from the dead— beauty from ashes—and all things are made new (Revelation 21:5).
We are called The Rising because we desire–with God’s help–to rise as a city within a city in truth (John 17:17-19; Deuteronomy 29:29). We believe that God has contours and certain definitions. He is not vague and foggy. And therefore, what God has revealed to us in his word—the Bible—puts contours on reality. This is truth.
We are called The Rising because we desire–with God’s help–to rise as a city within a city in beauty (Isaiah 61:3). We believe that not only that God has contours and definitions, but that in his communication of himself, he has revealed himself to and in his church. Consequently, God is known by his church’s love for one another (1 John 4:7-9). When this love is displayed, the beauty of the triune God radiates and rises.

Calvary Chapel Redmond began November 1997 by Pastor Anthony DeChristopher in fellowship with Calvary Chapel of Costa Mesa. We place a great deal of emphasis on teaching God’s Word, so that we might worship Him in Spirit and in truth. We also place an importance on our worship in song, for the Lord has put a new song in our hearts and He loves to hear the praises of His people.
In addition, we believe you’ll find a warm and loving teaching ministry to your children as well. They are presented with teaching specifically geared to their level of understanding, as we have found this to be a most effective way to ensure their spiritual growth. We are excited about what the Lord is doing and we hope that we might be helpful in assisting you in your personal relationship with God.

Our services are casual, family-focused and last about an hour and a half. We place great emphasis upon worshiping God in song, then continuing our worship we study the Bible verse-by-verse with an emphasis on applying God's Word in practical ways to our lives.
We believe in 'keeping it real' - and are intentional in steering clear of man-made religion as we respond to the radical Grace of God with genuine love towards Him, and towards one another.
We also love kids! Our Sunday gatherings include youth ministries geared for toddlers through teens.
