We exist to spread a passion for the Supremacy of God in all things for the joy of all peoples through Jesus Christ. We are called The Rising because we are passionate about the Jesus of The Bible. We identify ourselves with Jesus’ death by faith, and consequently we identify ourselves with Jesus’ resurrection (Colossians 2:11-13). The Rising not only celebrates the new life and joy found in trusting and treasuring Jesus, but we also put our hope in and long for the day when we rise from the dead— beauty from ashes—and all things are made new (Revelation 21:5). We are called The Rising because we desire–with God’s help–to rise as a city within a city in truth (John 17:17-19; Deuteronomy 29:29). We believe that God has contours and certain definitions. He is not vague and foggy. And therefore, what God has revealed to us in his word—the Bible—puts contours on reality. This is truth. We are called The Rising because we desire–with God’s help–to rise as a city within a city in beauty (Isaiah 61:3). We believe that not only that God has contours and definitions, but that in his communication of himself, he has revealed himself to and in his church. Consequently, God is known by his church’s love for one another (1 John 4:7-9). When this love is displayed, the beauty of the triune God radiates and rises.

We are a Parish in the Provence of Anglican Provence of Christ the King. Spreading the word of God. We believe that salvation is found only in Jesus Christ, who is the only begotten Son of the living God. All who come to Jesus Christ by faith, and repent their sins will receive forgiveness through His death on the cross, and live in newness of life through the transformation power of the Holy Spirit.

Founded in 1967, Gaston Day School is a nonsectarian, college-preparatory school for grades Preschool through 12 with approximately 500 students and 65 full and part-time faculty and staff.
