Located on 35 acres in Oregon's capital city, YWAM Salem is a non-profit, international and interdenominational Christian organization focusing on missions training, local and global outreach, and coaching young people through our flagship program, The Discipleship Training School (DTS). We are an operating location of an international missions movement called YWAM (pronounced "why-wham"), or Youth with a Mission.

Calvary Chapel Redmond began November 1997 by Pastor Anthony DeChristopher in fellowship with Calvary Chapel of Costa Mesa. We place a great deal of emphasis on teaching God’s Word, so that we might worship Him in Spirit and in truth. We also place an importance on our worship in song, for the Lord has put a new song in our hearts and He loves to hear the praises of His people. In addition, we believe you’ll find a warm and loving teaching ministry to your children as well. They are presented with teaching specifically geared to their level of understanding, as we have found this to be a most effective way to ensure their spiritual growth. In his book, The Hope of Salvation, Harding “Brent” Hedgpeth demonstrates the difference between an “assurance” mindset (the notion that one can know with full assurance that one has Salvation and nothing or no one can take it away) and a “hopeful” mindset (one that says “I think I am one of God’s elect, because I have a strong desire to trust and obey Jesus” while never assuming Salvation). The key to maintaining a hopeful, humble mindset is recognizing that nothing is set in stone. Only those who live a life of demonstrated faith and hope will make it into heaven. However, it can sometimes be the very act of teaching the Bible that turns many against the Bible’s teachings.

Carving For Christ makes custom communion trays from exotic and domestic hardwoods. WE use Oregon Myrtle, Redwood, Red and Black Oak, Black Walnut and other hardwoods as trims and bases for our communion trays. Our trays are focused for use in small churches, Bible studies, home fellowships, baptisms, and weddings. Trays can be made to prefered sizes for larger groups of 24 or smaller groups of any number.
