I am an Advanced Practice Nurse (APRN), Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) and have been in nursing for over 40 years. I have a diverse background in OB, Pediatrics, Hospice, Homecare, Geriatric care,Woman's issues and Education. The majority of my psych work has been in Peri natal mood disorders, Depression, Anxiety, Crisis intervention, Geriatric care and Women's issues-especially recovery from abuse. Addictions and chronic pain are areas that hold a special interest for me. I have worked with all ages who are suffering from organ failure. Consultation has been my passion, and I am bringing that passion to private practice in order to help others achieve the lifestyle they desire by being fully healthy. I have been prescribing for the psychiatric population since 2008. Currently, I am working on a post master's certificate in psychiatric mental health across the lifespan d will be an NP also.
