Joyful Noise Music & Arts Center (Maryland) is an innovative program that combines music education in a very fun and unique learning atmosphere for both children and adults. We specialize in instructing children in the basics of general music fundamentals but we also provide private instruction (vocal, piano/keyboard) on a more customized basis and we also provide referral services for those students whose needs surpass what we are able to provide. We love to cultivate the creativity of children and in no means wish to limit their abilities and talents! With programs like Music & Mats, we provide group instruction in a small (no more than 7-10 students for our group sessions) and safe environment. An instructor with 20+ years of experience, providing detailed piano lessons via Skype. Enabling students to receive lessons in the same manner they would in person, but from the comfort of their homes. Students will also be instructed in music theory, ear training and sight reading in conjunction with their lessons. Providing a broader focus and understanding of their studies. With Skype to Skype calls being free, there is no stress regarding additional fees for your lessons.

30 minute or hour long lessons in my home studio. Performance opportunities for school age students at least 4 times a year. I structure each lesson based on the individual's abilities, using well respected lesson series books and classical or popular supplements. I stress the art and joy of creating music; theory as each assignment allows. Adult lessons are less structured, concentrating on the goals of each adult student. Adults too have the opportunity to perform for one another once or twice a year. I respect each and every one of my students. I challenge each student to reach the next level, and my students rise to the occasion and meet my challenge. Yes, I push, but gently and with enthusiasm. My students respond well. Kellert Music Studios has been providing students with quality music education for over ten years. Located in convenient downtown Silver Spring, Maryland, we provide early childhood music classes as well as instruction in woodwinds and piano to students of all ages. Hand position, muscle relaxation and posture. 2. Keyboard geography: Naming of the white keys, and playing exercises from the Method book 3. Commonly used signs and symbols, articulation - staccato / legato, gradation of tone, dynamics - loud / soft simple meters. 4. Repertoire: Early repertoire using classical pieces in five-fingered position in the keys of C, G, and F major chosen from a variety of repertoire books.
