The primary project of the Human Kindness Foundation is the Prison-Ashram Project, which encourages prisoners to use their time for spiritual transformation, using classic practices from all the world's great religions. We get letters from approximately 400 inmates a week from all over the world, and each of those letters is read with attention and compassion. Most receive our free books; some also receive personal notes in response to the questions they ask. Three times a year, we publish a newsletter which goes to over 40,000 inmates and 5,000 others. There is no charge to be on our newsletter list, and back issues can be read on our website.

DCTS is a 501(c)3 Human Services Agency providing Educational, Referrals, and Consulting services for at-risk youth, individuals or families experiencing various forms of abuse, (e.g. domestic, sexual, addictions), destructive behaviors, self-esteem issues, parenting, and relational issues. In addition, DCTS offer One-Stop Services, such as on-site counseling for substance abuse and other addictions. We have Pre-trial Services for those persons awaiting trial, on probation or parole. Organizational Programs and Services are designed so that the community as a whole can impact the rebuilding process as one prepare to transition as a productive citizen.
