CrossFit is far more than a 'fitness center'. We use no gym machines whatsoever, and our philosophy has nothing to do with body building or fitness goals based on aesthetics. CrossFit is "community fitness" based on weight bearing and functional movements that are utilized to protect the body and help people in everyday life. CrossFit produces the world's top elite athletes, but can also serve the average person whatever their fitness level, as well as children. This gym is FOR the community. I believe CrossFit is the most effective method of fitness out there and I want to share it! CrossFit produces measurable results. In addition to lowering body fat and building muscle, athletes see their times get faster and they are able to lift more weight efficiently and safely.
