Baldwin County Sewer Service, LLC operates three WWTPs, 147 lift stations, 2.5 million linear feet of sewer force mains with over 450 square mile footprint. BCSS has franchise agreements with four municipalities to offer service within their corporate limits and has purchased and operates collection systems from three municipalities. Since 1998, BCSS has collected, transported, treated and safely returned to the environment over 3.1 billion gallons of sewer. Baldwin County Sewer Service has a "Switch to Sewer" program that provides incentives for septic tank users to connect to public sewer and is the only sewer provider in the county to provide 24/7 on-site customer service. BCSS maintains generators and portable pumps capable of running the entire system in case of emergency.
