Ekose'a Homes is an architectural design firm established by William Pearson in 2010 and is the successor to Ekose'a that was co-founded in 1978 by architects Lee Porter Butler (deceased) and William Pearson. Butler was the leading principal and creator of the gravity geothermal envelope, or double-envelope building design methodology. This passive design concept continues to be the fundamental art and science of Ekose'a Homes' practice in natural energy conserving residential building design. William Pearson is the sole founder, president ,and CEO of Ekose'a Homes; and a registered architect in California.
