I have been the recipient of massage therapy on a regular basis since 2005. I was a chronic migraine sufferer, and after experiencing the benefits of massage therapy at least once a month, I knew it was something I could not live without. Helping others is a passion of mine and I realized my massage therapist was someone who helped me and changed my life tremendously. When the opportunity came, I decided to go to school at Carteret Community College in Morehead City and obtain my diploma in Massage Therapy. It has given me a whole new outlook on life. I believe massage is more than just the "birthday" or "anniversary" treat you give to yourself or someone. Massage is something that should be viewed as preventative maintenance to create total wellness.
