South Coast Dancesport was founded by one of the top teachers in the United States, Matt Gregory. His focus, and thus that of the other instructors, continues to be an emphasis on creating an environment conducive to learning. We teach from the DVIDA syllabus, the most widely taught collection of social (and competitive) figures in the nation. We encourage involvement in our group classes and monthly practice parties. And we provide opportunities outside of just your private or group lessons to learn: from shows to competitions to regular visits from travelling coaches. There is something for everyone at South Coast Dancesport. You will find (and feel) a very friendly atmosphere within the studio from the moment you first walk inside.
