Dr. Stephanie M. Cauble graduated with a B.S. in Biological Engineering. In 2005, she earned her M.D. from the LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans. After performing her Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN, Dr. Stephanie Cauble returned to New Orleans to attend the Tulane University School of Medicine. Dr. Cauble completed her Gastroenterology & Hepatology Fellowship in 2012 and worked with the LSU Health System from 2012-2015 before joining The Baton Rouge Clinic. Dr. Cauble is a member of both the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and the American College of Gastroenterology. She is Board Certified in Gastroenterology, and is licensed to practice medicine in the state of Louisiana. Dr. Cauble loves spending her days with her husband and five children, as well as reading and sewing in her off time. She is a member of the Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church parish. She is currently accepting new patients.

Dr. Paul S. Fitzmorris, a Metairie native, received his bachelor's degree from Louisiana State University in 2009 and his Medical Degree from the LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans in 2013. Dr. Fitzmorris completed his Residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Alabama-Birmingham in 2016 and a Gastroenterology fellowship in 2019. Dr. Fitzmorris is Board Certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. He is licensed to practice medicine in the state of Louisiana. Dr. Fitzmorris is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, American Medical Association, American College of Physicians, American College of Gastroenterology, American Gastroenterological Association, American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases, and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. In August of 2019, Dr. Fitzmorris joined the Baton Rouge Clinic Gastroenterology Department.

Dr. G. Thomas Arbour, called "Tommy" by friends and family, is a Baton Rouge native, a graduate of Catholic High School in Baton Rouge, and is a true LSU Tiger at heart. After obtaining his B.S. from LSU in 1999, he earned his M.D. from the LSU School of Medicine in Shreveport in 2003. He performed his residency in Internal Medicine at the LSU Health Sciences Center from 2003-2006, earning recognition as Outstanding Resident of the Year in 2003-04 and serving as Chief Resident from 2005-06. He also earned a fellowship in Gastroenterology through the LSUHSC, completing it in 2009. He returned to Baton Rouge with his wife and three children and joined The Baton Rouge Clinic in 2009. Dr. Arbour holds dual certifications in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology and is licensed to practice medicine in the state of Louisiana. He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, the Louisiana State Medical Society and the Capital Area Medical Society.

A native of Hammond, Dr. Andrew D. Guidroz first came to Baton Rouge to attend LSU and graduated from the University in 1994. He then moved to Shreveport where he earned his M.D. from the LSU School of Medicine in 1998. For a while, he left his native Louisiana to perform his medical residency in Internal Medicine through the Medical College of Georgia, completing his program in 2001. He served as Chief Resident of Internal Medicine at the Medical College of Georgia through 2002 before entering into a fellowship in Gastroenterology at that location. He then returned to Baton Rouge and joined The Baton Rouge Clinic in 2005. Dr. Guidroz is currently licensed to practice medicine in the state of Louisiana and is board certified in Gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is a member of the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the American College of Gastroenterology and is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.

Dr. Matthew J. Rolfsen, a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, earned his Bachelor's Degree from The University of Georgia in 2011 and his Medical Degree from Louisiana State University Health and Science Center - New Orleans in 2015. Dr. Rolfsen completed his residency in Internal Medicine at The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in 2018 and his residency in Gastroenterology at MUSC in 2021. He joined The Baton Rouge Clinic's Gastroenterology Department in December of 2023. Dr. Rolfsen has been practicing medicine for a couple of years, previously working at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans. He is board-certified in Gastroenterology and is licensed to practice medicine in the state of Louisiana. He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.

Born in Philadelphia, Dr. J. Carter Balart was raised in New Orleans. He traveled to Virginia for college, earning his B.S. from Hampden-Sydney College in 1997, and then returned home to Louisiana, receiving his M.D. from the LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans in 2001. From New Orleans it was on to Alabama where he performed a three year residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Alabama-Birmingham, completing his program in 2004. He then earned a fellowship in Gastroenterology from the Medical College of Georgia-Augusta in 2007 before joining The Baton Rouge Clinic. Dr. Balart holds certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology and is licensed to practice in the state of Louisiana. Since joining the Baton Rouge Clinic in 2007, he has served on the Clinic's Board of Directors and is a member of the Clinic's Executive Committee. He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology and the Louisiana Gastroenterology Society.

Dr. Robert B. Taylor, a native of DeRidder, Louisiana, received his bachelor's degree from Louisiana State University in 2008, and his Medical Degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine at New Orleans in 2013. Dr. Taylor completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the LSU Health Center in Baton Rouge in 2016, where he worked as a Hospitalist at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center for 2 years. Dr. Taylor completed a fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University of Florida in 2021. He was honored with the Fellow of the Year Award at the University of Florida VA in 2018, and served as Chief GI Fellow in his last year. Dr. Taylor is board certified in Internal Medicine, as well as licensed to practice medicine in the State of Louisiana. He also holds professional memberships with the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG) and the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA).
